Meet Gus Alba

First licensed in 1976, Gus began his career as a sales associate for a very successful real estate organization in Costa Mesa, and has now been selling for 41 years. It was in his second year that he was promoted to sales manager where the office enjoyed profitability for both the agents and company. Gus began working for First Team in 1980 when he joined as a sales associate where he was a solid producer for the South Huntington Beach office. In 1985 he was promoted to the position of Director of Training. His primary focus had been working with the new associates.

As the company began to grow through changing markets, Gus kept pace with those changes by making sure the agents had the right information so they could leverage and capitalize. Many of today’s Hall of Famers and top producers started in the New Agent Training Program that Gus ran.

From Sales Associate to Manager to Coach, Gus has a wide range of experience and has been involved in many areas of expertise– working with new agents, assisting the seasoned agents, teaching licensing classes, writing and developing courses, statistical analysis as well as managing several of the company offices. Additionally, he has served as a Business Development Coach and seasoned Agent Coach. His dedication and commitment is evidenced by the legions of agents both new and seasoned who have benefitted from his guidance.
